We relish shooting women who are a testament to what women today are all about. 

Today's woman is about having kids, gaining weight, getting a promotion, sending a husband to war.. being a widow at age 23, watching a 2-year-old gasp with anticipation when he hears the ice-cream truck; being depressed and taking prozac, having a college kid whistle at you from across the street, learning that your best friend in high school died from cancer, washing grass stains out of your 5 year old's pants.. and remembering just yesterday he was in diapers.. and knowing tomorrow he’ll be driving your car and dating girls and or.. boys.. and fogging up the windows of your Audi wagon just like you used to.. or at least drempt about doing. 

Today's woman is about only having one car running this week, low on groceries, between paychecks, and finding a pair of teal coloured panties in the glove box of the family car.. and instantly feeling nauseated.. only to rejoice 7 agonizing hours later, when your 17 year old son admits to engaging in heavy petting the night before while using the family sedan.. then feeling ashamed and frightened when you realize you had actually thought about killing a husband, over a son's stupidity, unrestrained testosterone, and gross inconsideration. 

Today's woman is about acceptance, foregoing makeup and playing a game of kickball with the neighborhood brats. Today's woman is about not being embarrassed about who you are, or what you haven't done.... but accepting change, making a change, and being, and staying physically and entally healthy. Pimples, bad skin, pale skin, blue black skin, cavities, piercings & tattoos... love, despair, unsure, spinning your wheels, burned out, "pay checks didn't come in"... "client backed out", loved by everyone but herself... Today's Woman. 

Today's Woman- That’s what she is, who she is, and why she is. We’ve come to love all of them, for who they are. Know that she, Today's Woman, is about much more than rice cakes, yogurt, Betty Crocker, and makeup... but also ROI, biochemistry and Maserati. The crows feet on her eyes are from taking care of, and molding a career & family concurrently. The rug burns on her elbows are from playing with her 1 year old, despite a tiring full days work.. The carpet burns on her knees are from playing with her husband ;)
